Working Principle: Utilizes an alcohol-free, highly absorbent fiber tape; pressing the device advances the reel to remove nano-scale contaminants via adhesion rather than friction, ensuring a fresh cleaning surface with every press.

Alignment: Remove the dust cap from the optical module or patch cord, and strictly align the protruding tip of the cleaning pen with the interface’s slot or keyway.
Cleaning: Push straight forward until a “click” is heard (or until it reaches the limit) to complete a single cleaning cycle; repeating this 3–5 times is recommended to ensure thorough cleaning.
Reset & Inspection: Release the handle to reset the cleaning tape (or replace it with a new one); if necessary, use a fiber optic microscope to verify the cleanliness of the end face.
